The Lord does not and never will send evil spirits or any evil to anyone! Thats almost blasphemy to even ask such a thing! *

No rider, God does actually do that. Read 1 Samuel 16:14. God sent an evil spirit to Saul. Even the evil spirits must obey God. You see, because Saul rebelled against the will of God, God gave him over to demonic influence. Evil spirits operate under the permissive will of God and at times under His direct will (see Judges 9:23; 1 Kings 22:19-23; Luke 22:3; Romans 1:21-32; 2 Thessolonians 2:8-12) God is just and fair. Evil spirits cannot come near us without God's permission. They can only get permission if we are not obeying God in some area of our lives. That is why it is so important to keep holy and walk closely to God. *
